Counselling can offer different things to different people. It may be that you have a particular problem that you would like to discuss with someone neutral who is not a family member or friend. You may be going through a particularly difficult time in your life which may be linked to work, illness, relationships or personal problems which you find hard to talk to others about.
It may be that you have reached a point in your life where you would like some time and space to think about what is important to you and how your priorities may be changing.
Counselling is not about telling you what to do or giving you the answers. It is about enabling you to find your own way through the challenges that life and the world can present. Our sessions will involve exploring your situation and working together to find ways of gaining new perspectives. I can offer a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what suits you best, on a short or long term basis.
